2023 Election: Comedian Mr Macaroni alleges death threat

Nigerian comedian, Adebowale Debo Adedayo, popularly called Mr. Macaroni has claimed that he received death threat messages related to the election on February 25 from some significant anonymous politicians.

In a post on his Twitter page on Monday, Macaroni shared the screenshot of the email containing the death threat, which stated that he should give thanks to God if he survives this year.

The email further states Mr macaroni was being monitored in the area near Lekki, adding that he was already accustomed to receiving threats, and he had taped calls and texts from well-known people and their kids who have at a time reached out to warn him over a cause.

He said,” I’m already used to threats. I have a record of all threats I have received. Also, I have recorded messages and calls from Powerful politicians and their children that have ever reached out to me.

”I always said no because as long as I still live, There shall be no compromise.”
